Tom Angel - Director

Tom is a Chartered Horticulturist, Master of Horticulture (RHS), Award-Winning Garden Designer and qualified ecological surveyor with over 20 years’ professional experience in maintaining, creating and designing gardens and landscapes. Tom is a fully accredited member of the Professional Garden Consultants’ Association, and a former branch chairman of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture.

Anna Ferguson - Horticultural Manager

Anna brings extensive practical horticultural experience and soil science expertise to Tom Angel Studio. With an MSc in Soil Science and substantial garden management expertise, Anna combines technical knowledge with practical know-how. Her background in naturalistic planting and ecological research makes her ideally suited to lead our maintenance and implementation work.

Catriona Donaldson - Biodiversity & Rewilding Manager

Catriona brings biodiversity and rewilding expertise to Tom Angel Studio. A qualified horticulturist, Catriona also trained at Embercombe Rewilding Centre, combining technical rewilding knowledge with horticultural best practice. Catriona’s background in environmental education and stakeholder engagement makes her ideally suited to lead our rewilding and biodiversity projects.

Jens Weslen - Horticulturist

Jens trained in horticulture at the prestigious Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, and provides reliable and knowledgeable support on both our regular maintenance jobs and also on our planting projects.

Solly - Excavations Consultant

Solly is a career hole digger, bringing 16 years of experience to what is now more of a sedentary role. Always eager to escort us as we walk around our gardens, inspect fragrant roots, and on occasions ‘taste test’ any fine soils and mulches that he stumbles across!
