Garden Design

Tom Angel is a fully-qualified and award-winning garden designer and Chartered Horticulturist based in Glasgow with UK-wide experience of designing, installing and maintaining garden design projects. Once garden designs have been completed, we can connect you with hard landscape contractors to carry out the construction elements of the garden, and Angel Horticulture can then supply and install all of the soft landscape elements - plants, hedges and trees.

How does it work?

  • This is an in-depth meeting held with you on-site, where we explore your own ideas and aspirations for the garden, and then build up enough information for a design brief to be produced.

  • A written design concept is created for you, along with a quote for concept images, construction drawings and planting plans.

  • After a survey for the garden is carried out, a 3D concept visualisation is created, and delivered to you as a series of images so you can really get to grasps with your new garden.

  • Detailed construction drawings, planting plans and associated documents are produced for you. This is the final part of the design phase of the garden.

  • If required, we can put you in touch with trusted hard landscape contractors, and Tom can make regular visits to ensure the design is coming to reality as intended.

  • After the hard landscape contractors are finished, we dovetail in with all the plants, trees, hedges and so on. We are specialists in this area of work, so this process ensures you have specialists involved at each stage of the project.

  • The most important bit! We can carry out quarterly visits to take care of all pruning, weeding, trimming, mulching, fertilising and so on, to ensure that your garden develops and flourishes exactly as intended.
